NOTICES

March Meeting

The March meeting was given over to the Annual Auction. There were 283 lots, more than we’ve had for some time and consequently the auction started a little bit earlier than previous years at 7:45.  The auction plus (small) donations raised £1,501.00. From this the club has raised some £153.74 in commission and donations. Some highlights from the sale:

  • Lot 31- 1822 Geo III crown £155
  • Lot 44 - 1841 Vic penny £90
  • Lot 61 - 1883 Vic Shilling, £44
  • Lot 206 - Mixed world silver, £25

Another great year for the auction – long may it continue!

Remittance cheques will be sent out this week.
